Dolby E Solution available for Hire

Strong Hire are very pleased to announce availability of a complete Dolby E multi-channel audio solution available for rental. A world wide standard for the delivery and transmission of multi-channel audio for HD TV, Dolby E allows up to 8 channels of audio to be encoded to 2 tracks of tape, and also provides an intelligent loudness measurement and control capability from dub-suite to set top box.

Broadcasters such as the BBC, Sky, Discovery International, National Geographic and the UK advertising industry are all now requiring Dolby E and benefiting from it’s integrated loudness level controls.

BCAP regulations introduced this summer now require loudness control for all new UK TV commercials. The complete kit available is:
